On, July 29, Dimitry Braverman, a former senior information systems engineer at the Palo Alto law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, was sentenced by Judge Paul Engelmayer to 24 months in prison for insider trading.  Braverman pled guilty in November 2014 to one count of securities fraud. He repeatedly used material nonpublic information concerning planned merger and acquisition activity of at least eight clients of the law firm to acquire stock and options, resulting in profits of more than $300,000.  United States v.
