On March 10, 2017, CA Inc., an information technology management software and service company,  agreed to pay $45 million to resolve allegations that it made false statements and claims in the negotiation and administration of a General Services Administration (“GSA”) contract.  The agreement resolves claims that CA provided false information about commercial customer discounts for its software licenses and maintenance services to GSA contracting officers.  The allegations stemmed from a whistleblower lawsuit filed by a former employee of CA Software Israel LTD under the False Claims Act.  United States ex rel.
